Wil Ohman a Pirate?

Wil Ohman would appear to be Pirate bound. The Pittsburgh Post Gazette says their "aggressively" stepping up talks with the lefty. How can the Braves not give the man what he wants? The Braves needed the him in seemingly every game. By seemingly, I really mean 83 games and over 50 innings. The Braves are making a bold statement by sticking with Boone Logan and Eric O'Flaherty (both of which will probably be on the opening day roster). O'Flaherty did however pitch a scoreless inning yesterday with 2k's and dropping his era from really high to only 12.27. The era comment was bathed in sarcasm.

The optimistic side is that maybe Logan and O'Flaherty are going to have every kink worked out by spring training's end. I don't really see how they could do any worse at the start of the season. The only place to go from here is dropping that era and raising the Braves fans confidence.

-Glavine had a fantastic outing yesterday, atleast the starting rotation appears to be solid.
4 innings, 3k's, 0 earned

  1. Great will we ever be screwed by Boone Logan. Can't we find someone like David Price?

  2. I love how the braves always have one gas can in their bullpen.
